Our Curriculum Pathways
Our curriculum is built around five interconnected pathways that support learners to develop the knowledge, skills and confidence needed for adulthood.
Learn
Learners develop communication, literacy, numeracy and digital skills through personalised learning programmes. Opportunities to achieve accredited qualifications, including Functional Skills and ASDAN programmes, are embedded throughout the curriculum.
Work
Preparing for employment is a key part of the learner journey. Through volunteering, enterprise projects, work experience and community-based opportunities, learners develop workplace skills, responsibility, teamwork and confidence.
Wellbeing
We support learners to understand and manage their emotional wellbeing, develop resilience, build healthy relationships and make positive lifestyle choices. Wellbeing is woven throughout every aspect of college life.
Belong
Being part of a community is essential for adult life. Learners are supported to build friendships, develop social confidence and participate meaningfully in community activities, clubs and local projects.
Independence
Learners develop practical skills for everyday life, including travel training, personal organisation, money management, decision-making and future planning. We aim to equip every learner with the skills needed to live as independently as possible.
